How to breathe –
First - sit up straight, shoulders back, press your shoulder blades in toward your spine (helps open up chest and good for posture)
Next - Inhale deeply filling your lungs as your stomach expands.
Then - Exhale fully releasing all of the air.
Have you ever noticed how short and shallow your breaths are?
Have you noticed how fast and erratic you breathe when you are upset or anxious?
When we sleep or breathe slows down tremendously as our body relaxes.
