All Things Woke is made up of five beautiful souls; Cerita, Deliscia, Donisha, Ebi, and Jai. Many things brought these ladies together like school and work. Through their many good times including delicious brunches with mimosas some of their most profound and life affirming conversations happened. As each woman went through their life’s journeys they shared their ups, downs, and techniques for healing; supporting and empowering each other. The ladies desire to live their best lives inspires and motivates them to take care of themselves mentally, spiritually, and physically.
All Things Woke started when they realized that the most important part of self-care is mind care and so many people neglect and/or ignore their mental health and wellness. All Things Woke’s purpose is to support people on their life's journey with wellness workshops held during brunch to share, inspire, and encourage people to prioritize their mind care so they can take the best care of themselves.
Mental health and wellness work can be done many ways. At All Things Woke we've found several that can focus on the mind, body, and spirit. We always start with the dope trifecta of meditation, mindfulness, and gratitude:
1. Learning , understanding, and using meditation to free your mind.
2. Practicing mindfulness as a key to staying present and living without worry and anxiety.
3. Having gratitude as a mindset to vibe high.
When you heal your trauma, your wounds-you break the pattern for the next 7 generations. That is our work, the greatest gift to our children
